RESERVATION AND SELECTION PROCESS
Puppy Selection Process
Once you have decided that a Sheepadoodle is the right breed for you, we first ask that you research all of the care and challenges involved in raising a puppy. When you are ready to make that lifetime commitment, we ask that you first refer to this website under "Litter Updates" regarding available puppies and wait times for upcoming litters. We do not keep a "wait" list, nor a reservation list as we do not accept deposits for puppies that have not yet been born. We begin accepting reservations after the birth announcement has been made, but individual puppy selections will not take place until puppies are approximately 6 weeks of age.
Once we have a confirmed pregnancy, we will announce the pregnancy on our website on the "Litter Updates" page. If you have a specific gender/colour combination that you want, please be aware that you may have a longer wait time. We cannot guarantee colour nor gender of the puppies in any given litter.
Once a litter is born, we will update our website to announce the litter, and post a group photo of the puppies, We will begin accepting initial reservations and deposits at the time of birth. You may fill out and submit your application any time prior to the birth announcement so that we will have your information on hand in the event that you request a reservation.

After birth, we will accept reservations from our approved applicants on a first-come basis. That means that your choice of puppies will be determined according to the order in which we receive your reservation. An initial deposit of $600 (via e-transfer) will reserve your selection spot at that time. At approximately week 4-5, we will post an individual photo and video for each puppy, as well as temperament testing results, on our "Available Puppies" page, and reservation holders may begin selecting (in order). Reservation holders will have a maximum of 12 hours to select their puppy. Once the puppy is selected, an additional deposit of $800 will be required. The balance will be due upon pick-up, at 8 weeks.
Currently, we do our puppy selections at 4-5 weeks of age, so that we have an adequate idea of colour, personality and coat type for each puppy. Temperament testing is performed by an experienced trainer who trains and develops service dogs. Although we understand it may be difficult to wait to select your puppy, we really appreciate your patience, and believe it is truly worth the wait!
Once you select your puppy, we can arrange a Zoom or FaceTime "visit" to get acquainted and meet your puppy if you wish. It will be a good opportunity to ask any questions that you may still have after receiving frequent updates and information that we provide. We encourage all new puppy owners to familiarize themselves with all of the valuable resources on this website before our virtual meeting. Please know that we will do everything in our power to help prepare you for your puppy's homecoming (at 8 weeks), and to make sure that it is a wonderful experience for you!

Pickup of your baby will take place at week 8. The final balance, plus HST (see pricing) will be due at this time.

If placing a deposit on a puppy, please check your schedule to be sure you can bring your puppy home when it is ready to go. Eight week old puppies require a lot of individual attention and training, and should be integrated into their family at that time. If you are not able to bring your puppy home at the pick-up time, then we urge you to wait until the next litter.
